Description
MATTRESS FOR CHILDREN “BABYCLOUD”, BONNELL SPRINGS, DOUBLE-SIDED, 70X140 CM
The importance of quality sleep for infants and children is perhaps even greater than that of adults. After all, children sleep more than adults, because they are in constant motion. Proper rest helps the child’s perfect mental and intellectual development, but also its physical, too. It is, in fact, much more important for children to have a mattress that will properly support the spine during sleep because they are in their growth phase, and a wrong mattress can lead to permanent musculoskeletal damage. So, the most important factor for children’s proper sleep is the mattress.
In general, the mattress must be new, anatomical, and fit the bed properly without leaving openings larger than 4 cm, which could trap the baby or the child while sleeping.
TIP: It is advisable to use a topper with foam materials on top of the mattress for even better-quality sleep for children. Also, due to the fact that children often “wet” the mattress in their sleep, and of course this is not good for the mattress, it is recommended to use a waterproof cover, which will also offer protection against allergies and generally be anti-microbial.
This mattress is made with the traditional and more durable mattress construction. They consist of multiple springs of the same type and hardness, joined in a grid. This mesh is the heart of the mattress and is responsible for how the weight will be distributed. Bonnell mattresses are usually harder than mattresses with independent pocket springs and foam mattresses.

CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS:
The surface of the mattress is made of Jacquard fabric. Jacquard is essentially a type (a technique) of knitting. The name “jacquard” comes from Joseph Marie Jacquard, a merchant from France. Jacquard in the early 19th century invented a pioneering new form of loom. This new loom allowed the creation of designs during the weaving of fabrics. In honor of the inventor of this new type of loom, the machine was named Jacquard. Over the years the meaning of the word jacquard has become more general and does not refer to the Jacquard machine literally, but it is used to describe fabrics made with this technique. That is, with knitting that allows the creation of designs on the fabric from the same thread and with the same or a different color.
Then there is a layer of fabric and a layer of foam.
Below them is a cotton pad made of thick and heavy cotton fabric.
Then there is another layer of foam and a layer of hard padding.
Around the mattress, there is a layer of stabilizing foam and a layer of hard felt.
The heart of the mattress consists of 119 continuous bonnell springs per m2.
On the other side, there are again a number of materials as described, and shown in the word chart.
Keep in mind that the mattress is double-sided, so you can turn it over according to your wishes.
MAINTENANCE:
• Periodically expose your mattress to the sun for proper ventilation
• Leave windows open for 30 minutes every day to remove moisture, especially during the winter which is the main cause of mattress odor
• Do not bend the mattress because there is a risk of deformation and destruction
• Do not use as a “trampoline” by children
• Keep it dry
• Wash the sheets at high temperatures and iron them well to kill various microorganisms and place them dry on top of the mattress
• Do not iron on the mattress
• Protect it from liquids and clean it locally only with special cleaners
• The base of the mattress must be free of protrusions, curves, and bumps. It should be on a straight surface
ADVANTAGES:
Mattresses with continuous bonnell springs have the lowest cost compared to the rest of the mattresses on the market and can be replaced more easily. Finally, this particular mattress has 4 ventilation valves for better circulation of air inside the mattress.
