CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL:
The “cap” is made of dried banana tree fibers and sisal fibers. Sisal (Agave sisalana) is a species of flowering plant native to southern Mexico but widely cultivated and naturalized in many other countries. Its leaves yield a stiff fiber used in making rope and various other products. The term sisal may refer either to the plant’s common name or the fiber, depending on the context.
MAINTENANCE:
The luminaire does not need special maintenance. Dusting at a regular basis is enough.
